活動資訊 * 活動日期：2024/7/15 * 活動時間 : 19:00-21:00 * 活動地點 : 台北（活動前將以Email通知發送確認信並通知活動地址） * 語言 : 英文為主，中英雙語進行。 * 報名連結：https://www.facebook.com/share/G7hHHQzWuZS1EZrG/ 用民主選舉選出反民主的獨裁者，我們該怎麼辦？威權復甦與公民空間緊縮的（反）常態化：以印尼、菲律賓，與台灣為例近年來，亞洲地區面臨威權復甦、民主倒退，以及公民空間緊縮的難題。例如，印尼與菲律賓過去的獨裁者與他們的後代，紛紛通過民主選舉，獲得合法的政治「權力」。在台灣，2024年新上任的國會在數萬人上街反對之下，仍強行通過一些可能對公民空間與民主造成威脅的國會濫權法案。為什麼經歷了數十年民主化的台灣、印尼，與菲律賓會透過民主選舉選出意於管制公民空間的政治人物？這些人透過何種方式使得公民空間緊縮？在威權復甦以及公民空間緊縮的危機逐漸在區域內「常態化」的同時，公民社會如何做出應對與抵抗延緩這個趨勢？

「伸展」是相對於「緊縮」的動作與概念。「伸展運動」象徵東南亞區域內公民社會組織、運動與人權捍衛者們，在面臨公民空間緊縮與壓迫性管制的時刻，即便知曉行動的後果可能是高昂的代價，他們仍然持續行動與組織化。這些彷彿暖身和伸展運動般和緩的行動，實際上延展了現有的公民空間，甚至抵禦了公民空間緊縮的趨勢。這樣的運動是維持動能的，在此脈絡下也是積極開創的。亞洲公民未來協會致力於連結台灣與東南亞公民社會，共同發展抵禦區域公民空間緊縮危機的策略。透過【伸展運動：抵禦東南亞公民空間緊縮】系列四場座談，超過十位來自印尼、菲律賓、馬來西亞、泰國、台灣和東協區域的講者，將一同探討不同議題和領域的行動者與組織，如何透過本地、跨國、跨區域，以及跨領域等多元的策略與合作，來延續他們的工作，以及完成推動人權倡議與發展的目標。 The concept of ‘stretching’ is a contrast to the concept of ‘shrinking’. ‘Stretching Exercise’ symbolizes the continuous
