全球最大的數位人權會議「全球數位人權大會（RightsCon）」今年將在 #台灣 舉行！這是 RightsCon 第一次在東亞舉行，預計將有150國、約3000名產官學的科技與人權專家與會，包括全球的聯合國組織、資訊公司、人權組織、網路治理機構、政府機關！
東南亞是區域和國際公民社會組織與人權捍衛者活動的重要地區，然而，在監控技術日益猖獗、公民空間持續緊縮、跨境鎮壓事件頻繁發生的背景下，公民社會組織（CSOs）與人權捍衛者（HRDs）面臨逐漸增加的旅行風險，包括跨境鎮壓、實體與數位監控的威脅。在此情況下，我們該如何保障自身安全並維護行動自由？
本次圓桌會議中，參與者將交流與討論以下議題：
・目前使用於機場、海關、邊境的數位監控、數據收集和控制技術
・人權捍衛者和公民社會工作者在旅行時被定罪和鎮壓的案例和後果
・探索應對此類威脅的對策，以保護人權捍衛者和公民社會工作者，在旅行時得以降低風險與威脅
Join ACFA at #RightsCon 2025! Southeast Asia is an important region where a lot of regional and international civil society organizations (CSOs) and human rights defenders (HRDs) travel to for activities and advocacy. However, with the civic space shrinking, and surveillance technologies developing, CSOs and HRDs face threats of transnational repression, physical and digital surveillance when they travel among the region. How can we stay safe and protect our movements?
Asia Citizen Future Association (ACFA) is hosting an in-person roundtable session at the RightsCon 2025 titled “Countermeasures for CSOs and HRDs Traveling in the Age of Surveillance.”
This roundtable aims for exchange of experiences and perspectives on:
・The surveillance tools and methods targeting activists at airports and borders
・Cases of repression and criminalization HRDs face during travels
・Practical security strategies to mitigate risks and protect civil society workers
